Submitted on Review title of CatallaxisA neverending storyAlthough billed as five games, Half-Life 2 and its two episodes are essentially one: their story, technology, aesthetic, and gameplay all run together. Narrative and gameplay intertwine seamlessly, using events and places rather than dialogue to deliver their tale. Deft shifts in tone and pace, alternately dabbling in action, horror, strategy, and adventure, provide variety while preserving consistent interface and controls throughout. Wonderful visual and audio design give Half-Life 2's surreal dystopia an unusual solidarity, while simple game mechanics disguise surprising depth. Unfortunately, the game remains unfinished. It's been nearly 10 years since The Orange Box and still no sign of Episode 3. Highly recommended, but understand that you may never truly finish it.
Portal, meanwhile, is a brilliant and surprising puzzler that's best approached in total ignorance. NOTE: Review of single-player content only. Submitted on 5/2/2017 Review title of theblizzard187BEST GAME BUNDLE EVER!!It's a creation of all the great games that are made from Valve and Source, don't forget them, put together to create a great game bundle. It has the Half Life 2 series. Half Life 2 puts you into the time of when the Combine takes control of everything, almost everything. You are the man, Gordon who's gonna stop the Combine. It's an tragic death at the end, i'm not gonna ruin the ending, i kinda did but that's for you to figure out.
The other games are fun and exciting to play. Recommend if you're that type who likes. games like these game and also the type who likes games that are puzzled and confusing. Submitted on 5/19/2019 Review title of BlackJacket101Valve please give TF2 an update! To be honest, this is one of the greatest bundle of games, mainly TF2. I first experienced TF2 on my older brother's computer and instantly fell in love with the game.
But since my family doesn't have two computers i couldn't play it anymore. So i looked all around trying to find it on Xbox and when i found it i was so pumped and bought a disk from gamestop. But when I played it it had a lot less features than the PC version. I think if Valve got a update to the game it would benifite the community and they would earn a lot of money updating it to just like the PC version. Its still a great game, but it has much potential to get better.
